Falcons gave me the chance to play for the senior team in 2017 when I was 16 years old, and it was a great experience. Could not believe when my dad came and told me that Falcons had agreed to let me play some matches. I opened the bowling and also got a chance to bat.
Had been playing for the Singapore national women's team before that and this was a serious game.
Great opportunity for a youngster like me to play and with people twice my age & who were a constant source of encouragement.
Will always remain a high point in my cricket career.

Joining Falcons as a 14 year old, I can only look back at my time at the club with fondness. Being treated as an equal and valued member from the start, I was always considered for every match as one of the senior players, even allowing me to end up on the wall of fame!
The club, the members and the management helped my development as a player and as a person. I can only hope that more younger adults are able to join the club and grow through their experiences like I was able to do so.

Playing in the Falcons Club was the best part of my cricketing days in Singapore. I got the opportunity to play under some really good captains like Arvind, Vinod, & Badri.

Falcons has lots of find memories for me over the years it has transformed itself from finding 11 players to put out for the day to now where we have multiple teams under competitive and friendly leagues.
The best club which is democratic, non hierarchical and open to one and all to voice their opinion and contribute in all facets of the game. Whether playing a match or getting together for a round (or many) of drinks and sometimes both it makes my day always !
Kudos to BD, Badri, Vinod, Sanjay, Sanjeet, Arvind, Manoj, Vik and Sawan for growing and keeping together this wonderful group of Falconers!

Who would have thought Singapore would turn out to be a paradise for cricket lovers. The country provides great opportunity for indulging in cricket at all levels.... div cricket, playing with legends, intra club & inter club, day cricket, night cricket, playing in light rain ( yes u read it right... light rain doesn’t bother anyone playing cricket on a turf wicket in Singapore).
But the jewel in the crown within this cricketing ecosystem is the one and only ... un-paralleled and un-matched club... FALCONS. What started as, let’s say a transition from a prior existing club management to the current management.... the club has flourished and has become synonymous with good quality cricket in a Singapore.
What makes this club unique and “don’t give it a miss” is the camaraderie, the team spirit, the competitiveness and most importantly the FUN the teams the club fields at all levels have. What started with a small group of players is now home to more than {100} players.
From looking out for new talent from all the college level tournaments to the cricket lovers moving into Singapore... a few club pioneers are always on a lookout for new talent. There are players from Falcons who would play a match in the morning and run to catch the second match.. back to back (Arry, Sanjeet.....) !
In all my years of playing with Falcons, the one thing I always enjoyed was the true spirit of “gentleman’s game” being upheld by the entire Falcons clan. Having strong values around Inclusion and Diversity.... the club has been sponsoring players who would not have necessarily been able of play of their own resources, another example is encouraging female players to play for the team.
One more fun fact... I would like to be proven wrong, but if there was ever a global quiz on cricketing stats, trivia.... the team from Falcons would most certainly get a podium finish. Once a Falconer always a Falconer...
I credit my stint with Falcons to BD, and legend Sandeep Joshi... thanks for bringing me on board... I have enjoyed every single day of playing with such a great bunch. Go Falcons !
